I finished this painting about a month before I got my degree and it is currently one of my favorites. I enjoyed picking the different objects for this still life. They all worked together so beautifully and captured "faith." As I graduated, left university, and started a new chapter, I was reminded of the verse I held onto when I first started "For we live by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7. We cannot see what the future looks like, but thankfully we do not live by sight, but by faith in the One who goes before us and has prepared a way for us.
